Inconsistant recording of exercise time

Since the latest update, my watch is inconstant in recording exercise time during workouts.  I jog the same 3 mile course every morning.  Often, after 30 minutes, I get the haptic thump and the watch says "exercise ring closed."  Other times, no thump, and after complete the course, the watch has recorded accurate times, heart rates, mileage, etc., but after clicking "done," the watch shows only about 15 minutes of the exercise ring complete.  Hopefully someone is working on this bug.
