Mac mail Receives but Does Not Send

Mac Mail version Version 8.2 (2104), MacBook Pro 2011, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.

So about 3 weeks ago my Mac stopped sending mail it still receives but doesn't send. 

I have checked the mail on other devices. No problem - its just on the Mac.

I have checked out going mail servers and redone them all, then gone out of mail and back in again.

Nada nothing doing. Its driving me nuts.  Any thoughts out there?
