what to do if my mac is stuck on a white screen and wont go to safe mode or go into disk utility mode.

Hi,

Hold down the power button for about 10 seconds until the Mac shuts down. Then hold down the command and r keys while booting up. Once booted, go to Disk Utility > select your HD > click on First Aid.
