Itunes on my PC win 7 is corrupted do I also un...

For some reason my Itunes has become glitchy after the latest update, causing it to use abnormal amounts of my CPU memory and will not even let me sign in..have tried the repair function which was only a temp fix as Itunes went right back to glitching next use... so, I have deleted the Itune programs according to Apple's instructions but wonder why I would not also delete the ICloud which updated at the same time as the Itunes ? Would it do harm and or is it even necessary?

System is Windows 7, HP Laptop ..at wits end!
