注意：iPhone X读作ten不读X！除此，还有哪些英文单词你一定要知道？
今天凌晨，万众瞩目的苹果新品发布会在苹果新总部举行。苹果推出了 iPhone 8、iPhone 8 Plus 、iPhone X和新一代Apple Watch等产品。
正值iPhone诞生十周年，这次发布会最吸引眼球的就是iPhone X（注意，X是罗马数字10，读作ten，数字10的英文发音，不读x哦）。
除此，还有哪些英文单词需要你知道？
（一）3个功能的英文单词，拿去随便秀英文！
全面屏 all screen
外观上来看，iPhone X最显着的特点就是看似“无边无际”的全屏幕，英文称作all screen或edge-to-edge screen。
刷脸解锁 Face ID
iPhone X另一项革新在于引入“面容ID”（Face ID），实现“刷脸”解锁。
镜头 camera
iPhone X的前后摄像头，都有肖像模式（portrait mode）。
无线充电Wireless charging
苹果官网上的产品描述值得一看，其文案向来气质独特，英语用词简洁优美，翻译得也好。
（二）产品的英文翻译
With iPhone X, the device is the display. An all‑new 5.8‑inch Super Retina screen fills the hand and dazzles the eyes.
整部 iPhone X，看起来就是一块几乎整面的屏幕。全新的5.8英寸超视网膜显示屏用起来倍感称手，看起来绚丽夺目。
The display employs new techniques and technology to precisely follow the curves of the design, all the way to the elegantly rounded corners.
显示屏采用新的工艺和技术，精准贴合机身的曲线，一直延伸至优雅圆润的边角。
新屏幕采用OLED显示屏：
This OLED display, which Apple is calling the Super Retina ['retɪnə] Display can produce darker blacks, brighter whites, and more vibrant colors.
OLED显示屏，苹果称其为“超视网膜显示屏”，可以显示更加纯正的黑色、更加雪亮的白色和更加生动的色彩。
为了让屏幕看起来更完整，苹果标志性的Home键被取消了。
苹果解释称：
To create a continuous surface, with nothing to get in the way of your experience, we replaced the Home button with new yet familiar ways to navigate.
为了打造连续一体的表面，让你在使用时不被其他部件干扰，我们取消了主屏幕按钮，取而代之的是新颖却并不陌生的操控方式。
所以要怎样操作呢？
The lack of a home button is dealt with by requiring users to swipe up to access its apps, and to press a side button to summon its virtual assistant Siri.
没有home键，用户需要往上扫一下才能进入apps界面，唤醒Siri则需要按住手机侧面的按钮。
取消了home键，但是屏幕上方却多出来一排“刘海”……
据苹果介绍，这条“刘海”在极小的空间里包含了大量黑科技。
比如距离感应器（promixity sensor）、前置摄像头（front camera）、红外镜头（infrared camera）、点阵投影器（dot projector）等。
iPhone X另一项革新在于引入“面容ID”（Face ID），实现“刷脸”解锁。
苹果官方对于“刷脸”解锁是这么描述的，也充满文艺气息：
Your face is your secure password.
你的脸就是一张安全的通行证。
Once it knows you, it knows you.
一旦认识你，就总能认出你。
So smart it only works when you want it to.

The new phone has a "true depth camera system" in the front of the device to, first, validate that it is actually you who is using the phone and, second, unlock your phone.
iPhone X前部装有原深感摄像头系统，功能有二：其一，确定正在使用手机的是你本人；其二，给手机解锁。
“刷脸”功能也遭到了中外网友的一致吐槽……
不过，据介绍，这项功能还是很强大、安全的。
For additional security, Face ID is attention aware, meaning it unlocks your iPhone X only when you look toward the device with your eyes open.

对于表情包爱好者来说，还有一个功能值得期待，那就是“动话表情”Animoji（animated emojis）。
This same tech is also used to customize a new form of emoji, called Animoji, which projects your facial expressions and voice onto emojis.
该项技术还被用来定制一种新型表情包，即“动话表情”，它可以把你的面部表情和声音生成到emoji表情里去。
The TrueDepth camera analyzes more than 50 different muscle movements to mirror your expressions in 12 Animoji.
