ICloud Backup, IOS 10.3 and iTunes Not Working

Recently my phone told me that it had not backed up for over 2 weeks

I cannot understand why has I have enough storage on my iCloud account and never had any trouble before

Things I have tried...

  • Manually backing up to iCloud, but it just times out after getting a third of the way through
  • I am unable to install the recent iOS 10.3 as well this just comes up with an error everytime I go to install it.
  • Tried installing through iTunes, but the download just doesn't even start to download it even though it downloads music and apps ok
  • Deleted old iCloud backups, backed up to iTunes and restored from backup from iTunes
  • Reset Network settings
  • Force re-booted
  • Turned off Wifi when trying to install

I am just stuck now

Have you tried signing out of iTunes and then sign back in? Have you tried a computer restart?

Backup couldn’t be completed or you can’t restore

I have tried signing out and back in on iTunes and restarting computer.

I have now managed to install iOS 10.3 from another computer running iTunes but they iCloud backup still doesn't work automatically or manually!

Did anything in the article I posted a link to have any effect?

Nope sorry tried everything

Try a reset.

Tried a full reset. This managed to allow me to install the latest update 10.3.1 over air so I was was thinking it had been fixed, but still will not back up to icloud.

Also he battery on the phone is now completely unstable and goes from 100% to 1% in a few hours but if I turn it off and on again it goes back up but then rapidly discharges again. This phone is useless now. I can't back it up or trust using it now when I'm away from a charger

You might need to take it to an Apple Store and have the battery replaced.

I don't think it's the battery. It's ever since the 10.3.1 update, which must have a bug in it because there are loads of posts on here referring to the same battery problems since the update. The battery just isn't calibrating. It can be on 1% for hours and if I turn it off and back on it will be on 30%, 40% or 70% or whatever it should really be. I checked the battery usage is settings and it seems to be Settings that is doing it. It says 50% battery usage in 24 hours.

same here. tried everything, doesn't work.

I have the same problem too....Apple needs to get their *** into gear....I think since they were concentrating on their earpods linking up they screwed up the process of iCloud... I hope they will correct this in iOS 10.3.2

Apple stop messing with this system ...that's why you loosing customers!!!!

I suspect there is an incompatibility issue with 10.3.3 and iCloud.
