MacBook Pro Crashed after Installing High Sierra

I at first got the Flashing folder with the Question Mark. Then I restarted in "Recovery Mode" and tried to start up from the installed software. after about 4 hours it got right to the end and crashed again. I got an error of some kind saying something about a "bad system extension." Now when I try to restart the computer gets about halfway through the Progress bar and just hangs there. I tried to get it into "Target Mode" but the computer doesn't seem to respond. anybody have a tick before I try and call AppleCare? thank you!
