iPad messages not syncing

ipad messages not syncing with iPhone. Ant suggestions?

1. Make sure both devices are using the same Apple ID & password.

2. On iPhone's Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding > your iPad should be listed here.

3. iPhone's Settings > Messages > Send & Receive >

You can be reached... > Your phone number and your Apple ID and e-mail address(es) are selected here

Start a new conversation... > Only your phone number is selected.
