storage space cant reset

I just delete all my photos and videos from my iPad Air , but I don’t understand why still showing that I have used 9.7 gb. How can I resolve this ?

Deleted photo and video content remain in the "Recently Deleted" album for 30 days, and count against your storage.  To delete them completely select from the Recently Deleted album and delete again (permanently).  You may need to restart your iPad for the storage space to be updated.
