The Pause for one day option is gone.

As per subject. The "Pause for one day" button that used to be in the iCloud tab in preferences is gone. Not just on my computer but on 2 others with High Sierra. Has Apple removed this or is this a bug?

I kinda need this as I help an elderly friend of mine via remote support and the upload of his 1tb Photos library is hammering the connection. Being able to pause the upload like I could do in the past would be very handy. It is uploading as I see the photos slowly appearing on icloud.com.
