one month old 27" iMac 2017 dead pixel

Hi

Last month I brought a wonderful new iMac but a month later I have a dead pixel or pixel on the upper left side not what I was expecting since I have iPad that's five years old Retina display which is still perfect and iMac air from 2013 I did have an iPhone six which developed dead pixels within three months had a screen replace no questions. I have been in  touch with Apple support they've made appointment for me to bring it into an Apple Store but I'm thinking is  worth the effort for one dead pixel/s. But spending over €2000 I could have just went out and bought a windows computer for a couple of hundred euro I not have any problems with dead pixels as with my Sony computer that I brought  10 years ago for under 500.

That's one of the nice things about Apple, they have renowned customer service and they stand by their products. If this is cause by a defect, they'll replace the necessary components at no charge since it's under warranty.
