Siri playing wrong song?!

When I ask Siri to play a specific song, she'll start shuffling within the artist but never get the actual song right! She's been getting it wrong right out of the gate with Sierra. I've tried all kinds of different songs and artists and she always plays the correct artist but never the correct song. I've restarted the system and can't seem to get this to work properly.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, before I made this post, I already tried disabling, re-enabling, restarting, all in various orders. I also made sure the permissions on my music library were set correctly in case Siri couldn't read the files, all to no avail.

I also spent an hour on the phone with a senior tech advisor at Apple who was flummoxed and submitted a full report to his team of engineers.

I'm hoping that if anyone else has the same issue, they will post in this thread so a solution can be distributed when found.

Oh yeah.  "Play leggy blonde" to which Siri prints exactly what I spoke.  Then plays "Mr Krinkle" by Primus.  I recently tried "Play the album Audioslave". Siri printed the words "Play the album audio slave" then proceeded to play "Mandy" by "Me first and the gimme gimmes".

It seems she hears and understands what I am saying then there is a disconnect in itunes.  Wierdly (or not?) this works fine on the iphone or appletv.

I was having the same issue.  I would tell Siri to play Whine Up by Kat DeLuna, she would acknowledge it and repeat it in print then play anything else.  Like Linkin Park or The Exies, just random songs and bands.  I did notice that the title of the song she acknowledged was slightly different.   I'd say play "whine up" and she put in print "Whine up (English Version) Feat. Etc." the song in the library is just simply "Whine Up" however I also had a music video of the song.  I think maybe Siri was trying to play the music video and couldn't and then just picked another song instead.  I also had issues with Done. By the Band Perry.  But for some reason that song wasn't in a Playlist it was supposed to be in.  She plays that one fine now that I added it back on.  Hope this helps. 

I am having this same issue. Siri is able to read back exactly song what I am telling it to play, then plays a different song not related to the artist or name of the song. The song she actually plays is different each time

I have the same issue. Tell it to play any album or song, it registers accurately what I'm saying and then it plays a totally random song instead. Super an

I have this issue too.  I notice it when I was playing one set of songs, then didn't use music for a while, and when I start playing music the next time, Siri tells me it's the correct selection, but starts playing the song I was listening to the last time I was listening to music.  If I ask Siri to play the right song again, it comes out correct and then siri is fine for all other music until I stop playing music for a while.  Then it gets it wrong again... It's a bit frustrating.  This is happening on my iPhone 7 after the last iOS update.
