Outlook.com email in Apple mail general problems

Hello all,

I am trying to understand a problem we keep having with outlook email using Apple Mail.app on a MacBook.

There seems to be strange syncing problems, for example:

• 4-5 different drafts of the same email as the email is being composed
• if an email has PDF attachments, the sent box or recovered email box will show multiple emails sent with "no sender" and the text is grabbed from the PDF and dropped into an email in plain text
• email gets "sent" but still shows in the outbox
• among other problems

It all leads to a stressful time and unreliable communications.

I would like to know does this sound like a technical problem with the Mail.app, or does this sound like some kind of systemic problem that exists in the Outlook universe (or maybe trying to use Outlook.com email with Mail.app).

Has anyone else suffered any of these problems? Does this sound like it would be salvation by migration away from Outlook?

Please advise your experiences. I will appreciate your responses.
