Same playlist different song order on ipad and ...

Hello

I tried searching but didn’t find anything recent on this so I’m hoping this is a simple user error and an easy fix with some advice from the community...

I created a playlist in Apple Music on my iPad Pro. The playlist appears on my iPhone (both running iOS11.1). However, the song order is different between devices.Also when I edit the playlist some songs can dragged to a new position in the play order and stay there when I tap “done” but others wont!

I’ve just moved over to Apple Music from Spotify and this is my first experience. I hope it’s just me being dumb otherwise I’m heading straight back to Spotify!

A few other details:

iPad Pro 9.7

iPhone SE

Both have iCloud Music Library on

I am *not* using iTunes Match at the moment

I only use an iPad and iPhone - I’ve got rid of my MacBook Pro.
