since upgrading to Sierra, cannot link a pdf pa...

Since upgrading to Sierra, my Mac will not let me share a document, in any format, to mail.

Having to screen shot documents then copy them into emails.

Any thoughts as to what to do?

Look in System Preferences : Extensions : Share Menu. If Mail is unselected, select it. If it is grayed out, then resort to the following Apple HT203129 article to restore Mail to the Share menu. It will take about two-seconds to run, and then revisit System Preferences, and see if you can select Mail, if it isn't already selected for you.

The first paragraph should restore Mail on your Share menu. If it doesn't, I have a similar command with more features that has been known to work for others too.

Thanks, I've tried both suggestions and neither work...mail is selected but greyed out and I can't re select it. Typing the command didn't do anything...
