Altimeter data not adding up
I have a Watch Series 3 (GPS only), which I bought on Friday. I've noticed that the "floors" metric in the Activity app doesn't reflect my actual elevation gain throughout the day. For example, it has my current "floors" at 29, but if you look at my last workout it says I had 473 foot elevation gain from just that, not including the rest of the day.
Is elevation gain during a workout not counted towards your daily floors tally? Is Apple using a strange number of feet per floor? On my old fitbit it was 10 vertical feet per floor, and I was accustomed to hitting 60-100 floors per day with my typical activity level.
Anybody know what's going on here?
