Anyone Else Had This Weird Safari/YouTube Problem?
I don't know if this is an Apple problem or a YouTube problem (YouTube, appear, to have made some design changes to their site, recently.). I'm running the latest Sierra release (10.12.6) and the latest version of Safari on a 2010 MacBook Pro. In recent weeks, I have had a couple of instances when I would start playing a YouTube video. Then, I would go to full screen mode. Instead of seeing the full screen video, the video would go, completely, black. I could still hear the audio, though. The video controls at the bottom of the screen would, also, disappear. Finally, I found myself unable to get out of full screen mode. i.e. pushing ESC did nothing. The only thing I could do was force quit Safari. Then, I could get my desktop back. Then, I was able relaunch Safari and replay the video, full screen, as normal, with no issues. Any idea what could be going on, here?
