How can I check when i redeemed an iTunes code?

I was given an iTunes code some months ago. When i try to redeem it to my account, i'm told it has already been redeemed. How can i find out when this was done? And can i also check which device i redeemed from?

Unfortunately not.  Your iTunes purchase history has a chronological history of your account's purchases, but there is no history of gift card redemption(s).

But I'm actually not sure that I have redeemed the code on the card. Is there no statement facility showing credit & debits on my account?

Dave, Correct, there is no such statement.  There is only a chronological list of purchases.

If the issue is critical, you may try placing a query to iTunes Customer Service asking about that gift card.  However, I do not know whether they would be able or willing to provide the information.

Don't know how Apple get away with "providing" customers with such a lousy tracking system. I'd get the sack if I used such a flimsy audit trail for my work.

Well, I strongly suspect that if there were some serious forensic investigation going on, Apple could find where and when a given gift card was redeemed, along with the account name, IP address, etc.
