Series 1/WatchOS 4 flashlight starts up red.

I have a Series 1, running WatchOS 4. The flashlight is certainly handy, but for some reason mine starts up in red mode instead of white, as it is supposed to. 

Is this occurring with anyone else, or is there some hidden setting for the flashlight’s startup color? I’m stumped.

Problem solved. If Theatre Mode is on, the flashlight starts up in red. If Theater Mode is off, it starts up in white. Not sure if this is by design, but that’s the answer.
