Apple Server kicking out users in alphabetical ...

Hi all.

I am running a 2015 Mac Pro as a server for a small business with 60 employees.

It is used as a file sharing hub, and is connected to 3 x Pegasus 21TB external raids that contain the company files.

The users are all on Mac's as well and generally connect via AFP rather than SMB, but there is a mix.

All software is up to date, OS and mac Server.

Over the past few months, maybe once every 3 or 4 weeks, users find themselves unable to connect to the Mac Pro.

The odd thing s that is starts kicking out/blocking the users in alphabetical order. (So all the Andrews, Alan's etc complain they cannot connect, a few minutes later is the Brenda's and Bills etc etc). The symptom is they get disconnected and they when trying to reconnect it rejects the user password.

The solution is to restart the server, simple as that, and everyone can connect again without issue; but this can be a pain in the day when everyone is connected and they are constantly uploading and downloading files.

Has anyone else come accross this issue and found a fix??
