Brother Fax Printer on OS X 13

I have a Brother Fax-Laser printer which I use as a printer on my iMac, mainly because it is very fast.  Unfortunately they have not updated the driver in a while, so technically it is no longer usable. In fact it actually worked on Sierra and works on High Sierra, just a little buggy.

I do wonder why a big company like Brother doesn't update its drivers.
