Family Shared payment issue

My family, more specifically: me, my brother and his girlfriend use the family feature. I've got an issue where whenever I go to download an app, even if it's free, it asks me to input my brother's card information (As he set the family up). I can't do this as I can't just ask him what his bank information is. I'm sure a lot of people agree with me on this. I'm making this topic here as I did contact apple but they seem to not understand this concept of keeping your information safe.  What do I do? I can't download free apps and I can't download apps that cost money with my itunes balance due to this issue. The only way I can get an app is if he downloads it first and then I download it after. Which we can't do with apps that cost money as I can't transfer my itunes balance money to him.
