Some songs are greyed out in 3rd party music apps

When using 3rd party music apps such as Tunr or Accudio in IOS some songs are greyed out and can't be played. It is the same songs that are inaccessible no matter the app used. It is a very limited number of songs and there is no obvious link between the inaccessible songs.

This only occurs with 3rd party apps not Apple Music app.

This started after I tried Apple Music and then cancelled the subscription. All of the songs that are inaccessible were purchased long before Apple Music became available.

Tried deleting and reinstalling the apps with no effect. Apple ID did not change.

Anyone have any ideas?
