softwareupated
With Mac OS Sierra users could (force) kill softwareupdated daemon through Activity Monitor, but with High Sierra that doesn't work anymore, and using terminal mode says operation not permitted. The daemon uses 1.5 GBytes just once but keeps it active until you reboot. Is there way to kill it or through another daemon without rebooting to recover the memory?
