Exchanging two Macs  OS Sierra; different ...

Hope i choosed the proper Category:

2 Laptops  A: with Retina(2015);  B: without Retina  (2011). Same OS SIERRA 10.12.6

2 different Apple IDs.

Whole contents shall be exchanged= cloned over among each other., so that things work like before  for each but vice versa.

Possibilties so far:

1)Time Machine Backup: Restoring the Time_ Machine Backup  starting from the recovery Partition and Restoring the Backup from the other computer?

2) Carbon Copy Cloner:

2a) Restoring from a Clone on a HD ( Start the Mac from the Clone(external Disk)  and Clone to the Macbook)

2b) Restore from a "CCC_made ImageClone" (Start the Mac from  a an external Disk with CCC on it; Mount the Image Clone and restore to the mac

2c) Restore from a  "CCC_ made ImageClone" ( Start the Mac from recovery Partition and restore the Image via Disk utility

How is this done easiest? And what has to be paid attention to? such as  Ownership, Permissions; Apple ID issues

What would you recommend and what problems will i probably encounter!?

Thank you very much in advance.

(Background:

My wife and our daughter have each a Macbook pro. They want to exchange them among each other because my daughter needs one with less weight.

Of Course they want THEIR OWN Data and structure on their “new” laptops.  I have restored and transferred Systems several times before but never made an exchange between 2 computers. I always used Carbon Copy Cloner)
