Schedule videos offline on mobile in select countries

In select locations, when you’re signed in to the YouTube app and you keep your mobile data on at night, you can schedule certain videos to watch offline. We call this Smart Offline.

Smart Offline is currently available in India. Find out if your mobile operator supports Smart Offline.

Schedule videos to offline

If you are located in a country that supports Smart Offline, you can schedule certain videos from the YouTube mobile app to watch offline during a pre-defined window of time determined by your mobile provider. This window, usually at night, allows you to schedule videos when data rates are cheaper, or have access to data cashback.

Once you schedule the videos you’d like to watch offline, they will be saved automatically during the window. Keep your mobile data on at night to make sure the videos are saved.

Once offline, the videos can be played for up to 48 hours.
