Manual review for videos marked "not advertiser
If the content of a video you uploaded is considered inappropriate for advertising ("not advertiser-friendly"), you may be alerted in one of the following ways:
- Video Manager: You may see an alert in Video Manager or see a yellow dollar sign
next to the video.
- Email: You may get an email to the email address associated with your YouTube account.
Advertiser-friendly content is content that's appropriate for all audiences. Learn more about what content is considered advertiser friendly.
Request manual review
If you believe that your video is eligible for monetization, you can request a manual review. Click on the yellow dollar sign
Review time depends on a variety of factors, such as video and channel performance, the history of videos you've submitted for monetization, and the eligibility of your content.
Keep in mind that we receive many requests to monetize videos every day and review these submissions as quickly as possible. We may not be able to process every submission, but we continually monitor these factors and prioritize accordingly.
