Live stream metrics
When you live stream on YouTube you'll be able to see how your stream performs. You'll see different metrics depending on whether you use Stream now, Events, or mobile.
Stream now
When you use Stream now you'll be able to see the following metrics during the stream:
- Watching now: See how many viewers you have at any given time. Peak concurrent is the highest number of concurrent viewers during a live stream.
- Messages/min: Live chat messages per minute
Metrics will be available in YouTube Analytics 48-72 hours after your live stream ends. You can download the data as a CSV file. Note: Data in YouTube Analytics is based on Video ID.
You can sort the data by Live, On demand, or Live & on demand in YouTube Analytics in the Overview menu.
