A YouTube coupon code is a credit that can be applied towards specific YouTube paid content: movies and TV show rentals or purchases. Coupon codes can only be redeemed for the indicated purpose. For example, if you received a code for a movie rental, you may not be able to apply the credit towards a movie or TV show purchase.
Redeem a coupon code
You can redeem a coupon code on a computer and certain mobile devices.
1. Sign in to your Google account.
2. Visit the movie or TV show video that you would like to purchase and select the button displaying the purchase price.
3. Select Enter a promotional code under the movie or TV show poster and type in the code you received.
4. Select the purchase option of your choice.
5. Your movie rental or purchase price should indicate $0.00. You must select a valid method of payment to be able to complete your purchase and redeem your free movie or TV show. Select your preferred form of payment and tap Buy.

Fix a YouTube coupon code issue1. Verify that you entered the coupon code in the correct field. YouTube coupon codes will not work in the "Redeem Google Play Gift Card or Promo Code" field.
2. Make sure that you typed the code correctly. Pay attention to capital or lowercase letters in the code.
3. Make sure you are using the coupon code for its intended purpose. For example, if you received a coupon code for a free movie or TV show rental, you may not be able to apply it towards a movie or TV show purchase.
