Pre
On YouTube, you can pre-order select movies and have them delivered to your account as soon as they're available. Pre-ordering is available on YouTube.com via a web browser or in the YouTube mobile app. Note: This is not currently available on iOS devices.
Pre-ordering a movie
When an item is available for pre-order on YouTube, it displays a Pre-order button on its watch page. You won't be charged for pre-orders until the item is available for viewing.
- Open YouTube on your computer or the YouTube app.
- Search for the item you'd like to pre-order.
- Select Pre-order.
- Complete your order.
We'll send you an email when your pre-order is placed and when the item is available.
Cancel a pre-order
If you no longer wish to purchase a pre-ordered movie, and it hasn't been delivered yet, you may cancel the pre-order.
- Visit your Purchases page on your computer or on the YouTube app.
- Locate the pre-order you wish to cancel.
- Select Cancel pre-order.
You'll receive a cancellation email after canceling your order.
Changed release dates
If an item's release date changes, we'll send you an email. Your pre-order will still be completed, and the item will be available in your app on its new release date.
Why was my pre-order canceled?
A pre-order may be canceled if your payment is declined. You can pre-order again once you update your payment details on your Google account.
