How do I verify my bank account?

To verify a bank account, Lending Club initiates an electronic debit and a credit for the same amount (less than one dollar) from that account, which will post to the account within 4 business days. To complete the verification process, note the amount, log into your Account Dashboard, click the "Verify My Bank Account” link on the "To Do List", and enter the transaction amount.
 
It's important to verify your linked bank account so Lending Club can quickly process all payments. Monthly interest payments will be automatically debited from this same account.

To complete the verification process:
Check your bank account online, by phone, or at a branch to determine the small amount Lending Club has withdrawn.


Log into the e-Credit Line website and go to the Account Dashboard page. The Account Dashboard page will display with a yellow note on the right that contains your personal To Do List. This note lists what tasks you must complete before your e-Credit Line can be reviewed.
 
Verify my bank account
In the To Do List, click the Verify my bank account link. The Account Verification page will display with your name, the name of your financial institution, the type of account you specified when applying for an e-Credit Line.
 
Account Verification
In the Debit Amount field, enter the amount that was withdrawn from your bank account, and then click Submit.
The same amount will be returned to your bank account once the verification process is completed.
 
Once you have successfully verified your bank account, the website returns you to the Account Dashboard page, and your personal To Do List is immediately updated with a checkmark:To Do List
