Is it okay to give my TradeManager ID to a supplier?
Yes. If you allow a supplier to have your TradeManager ID, they will be able to send you a request to add you as contact.
If you have not restricted adding contacts in TradeManager's settings, they will be able to add you as a contact instantly.
If you require approval before adding friends in TradeManager's settings, you will be able to accept or reject their contact request.
