How can I incorporate a static image (PDF, JPEG, etc) into iMovie so that it does not move, zoom or float?  I just want it to sit still.

I use iMovie on my iPad. When you have the project open, double tap on the picture in the timeline. On the preview screen, you will see an option for Ken Burns effect. If you tap that, it will turn it off in the picture will stay still. Hopefully I explained that right.

I believe if you insert a JPEG, then go to the crop tool (with the image selected in the timeline), and then select "Fit" that will prevent it from zooming. The crop tool is to the right of the paint pallet.

If you insert a PDF the PDF will scroll even if "Fit" is selected because it wants to show all of the pages in the PDF based on the amount of time it has in the timeline. So more time = slower scrolling and less time = faster scrolling.

Let us know if this helped out!

After I select "Fit", is there a way that I can change the black gap fillers (my image is square, not rectangular) to white?
