Imac 5K 27" 2017 base model

Hello.

tried to search the web for information, but came out with no luck.

So here we go..

just bought an iMac 27" 2017 base model, with an upgrade from the fusion drive to a 256GB SSD.

Also bought extra memory, to have a total of 24GB.

i have a Macbook Air 2013 model, which works like a charm.

The new iMac seems a bit laggy/stuttering i general, when, both scrolling websites, and also when im just moving open tabs around the screen, or switching between open programs/tabs, with three fingers on, in my case, the magic trackpad 2.

It feels like the iMac i doing what i want to do pretty fast, but its always in this laggy-sort-of-way.

*Could it be the 5K screen, mixed with the Radeon Pro 570, that just can NOT perform really smooth together, and therefore, it stutters/lags all the time?

*Could there be something wrong with the graphics card? (Will try to run Apple diagnostics later).

it does not seem like a lot of people have mentioned this behaviour, and maybe im just too picky about the details.
