Why was all my files deleted from iCloud?

I have purchased the 2Tb plan for iCloud to store lots of documents I do not want to store on my computers.

Today I went to find a file and everything was deleted. I am SO angry!!!! This deletion erased decades of photos, novel notes, genealogy notes and important documents.

I do not delete from iCloud, I just buy more space.

I tried to the restore, but it only tried to restore but it only showed 1% of the documents. The other issues is, it said it can't restore. This is making me furious!

You advertise "Safe and Accessible" product, but it just deletes your life.

I want ALL of my data back! I pay for your service, this is not acceptable.

sorry but you need to understand Apple is not here and no one here sells you anything - we are al users exactly like you as was explained in the TOU you argeed to when you signed up for these forums

And we do not know you and can not see you so you have to provide details to get help - what version of the OS do you have and what are your iCLoud settings? What eactly did you do? In general iCloud is NOT a place to store things, it is a sync service in most cases and in most cases when you delete form any connected device you delete form all - with no information my guess is that is what you did - if it is then you need to restore a backup from before you did that
