Why did creating an apple ID on my new Iphone l...

I created an apple ID on my iPhone and since then cannot acces my Ipad.  It won't appear on my list of devices, I can't add it to my list of devices and now the authentication process has failed despite my entering the correct information from when I first set it up.  the Ipad is now totally useless, there is no help from Apple at all - presume it's just a way of making buy a new one - which suggests it's a con!

If your iPad is not using the Apple ID that your new iPhone is using, then of course it won't appear in its list of devices.

The list of devices is tied to the Apple ID.

The Apple ID on the iPhone would not have the iPad if its using a different Apple ID.

With that said, unless you explain what happened its hard to offer any help. The iPad should not be locked simply because you used a different Apple ID on the iPhone.

If you can calm down and explain what exactly you did, we may be able to help you un do it.
