UPS power warning on house current

I'm getting an occasional UPS power warning. But I do not have a UPS.

The exact message is ...

Warning! Your computer is now running on UPS backup battery power. Save your documents and shut down soon.

Macbook Pro 13" mid 2012. OS X El Capitan.

16GB RM, 1TB Solid State Hard Drive, Superdrive

Well, isn't that special? Did you ever have any UPS software installed. Check in System Preferences > Energy Saver to see if any UPS settings are in there.
