boot camp bluetooth airpods problem

Running windows 10 in boot camp on mid 2015 macbook pro.  I can pair my airpods ok, but then they just start cutting out after a few minutes, then no sound seems to come through at all.  If I re-pair, they work again for a minute or two then do the same thing. 

 

Any suggestions?  They have worked great on the mac OS side.
