Does the usb output support rotation for extern...

When i plug my external monitor into my thunderbolt port I can rotate the screen, but when i plug it into the usb port I can't. I can't tell whether it's the vga to usb adaptor (j5 create) that doesn't support rotation or the usb port on my mac. Please let me know if the usb port supports this, thanks!

The USB port does not support video unless you use a third-party adapter. It would be up to the adapter to support screen rotation, not the USB port.

If this is the case, does anybody know which third-party adaptors do?

Exactly what model do you have? Does it have USB 3.0 ports or USB-C ports? You haven't provided sufficient information to get a proper answer.
