No way to buy iOS apps on my Mac?

So now there's no way to search for, review, compare, and/r purchase iOS apps on my Mac? That's ridiculous! I understand the desire to reduce bloat in iTunes, but why not create a separate iOS App Store app much like the one for MacOS?

go to Apple.com/feedback and let them know.

Thanks, I did that. Hopefully others will suggest that as well and perhaps it will happen.
