how would i reboot my iPhone 7S to the new iTun...

I just installed the new iOS11 and see that my apps for my iPhone and iPad are no longer in iTunes but in the new App Store on my "dead" phone. This seems a little dumb as I used to have to boot/restart my iPhone when I got a black screen by syncing it with iTunes.

If my phone should give me that black screen, how would I now get it back up and running?

I cannot be the first person that has thought of this and is a little panicked about the prospects of not being able to get my phone up and running again.....

It is not a full public release until 9/19.

Wait, I don't have the beta. Never signed up to beta test anything. I am not that techie and I usually wait about 2 months until everyone else tests the new, public versions of operating systems, iPhones, iPads before I download or buy them.

Some version of iOS simply downloaded itself today to my App Store (really, I did NOT click download, it just automatically downloaded) and THAT is when I saw that there are no longer apps in the iTunes store and there we instructions about what to do when you need to reload your apps and how to find them.

I thought EVERYONE got this update today because of the way this happened and because it came the day after Apple's latest event.

Now I am nervous.
