ipod touch activation lock

bought ipod touch from someone , it said disabled connect to itunes so i thought id have no problem getting the working again.just restore it. but when i restored and updatd it . after it was finished it said activation locked. and that i have to enter the apple id and password that is linked with this ipod when it was set up

what do i do?? i dont have a way to contact the previsous owner and how do i know if the person i bought it from is even the person whos icloud account is limnked with it

Use it as a paperweight. The activation lock is an anti-theft measure; you won’t be able to get past it.

Dang that really *****.. there's no way some one at the Apple store can get past that ..  ? Or have the ability to find the previous owner ?
