The Dock

Can anyone tell me if it takes out a lot memory if I keep a bunch of apps on the dock. See screen shot if I take some out will that improve my memory? Please advise.

What you see in the Dock are just Aliases (pointers) to the actual apps, not the apps themselves. They take up miniscule, totally insignificant, amount of storage.
