MacBook Air locked

I was in my Mac and suddenly It shut down and asked my to enter the system lock pin. I opened find my iPhone on my iPhone and it told my that my mac is locked. I cannot unlock it because my mac is apparently offline. I already changed my iCloud passcode and kicked all of the devices out of iCloud. I don't know how the device was locked and who locked it so I can't get the pin. I also don't know how to connect it to the wifi (I am at home and the wifi router is right next to me). Please help me.
