I cannot skip songs from my apple watch.

When selecting music to play on my iphone from my apple watch it allows me to switch songs but manually selecting a new one but does not allow me to use the skip forward and backwards buttons? Anyone know why? 

I am running ios 11 public beta 7

And watch os 3.2.3

I have the exact same problem and I am also running iOS 11 beta. I've found out that the Apple Watch will not work with all the features until the iOS 11 official release come out and the watchOS 4 official release come out. The best thing to do is just wait.
