Wacom intuos 5 tablet not showing in system pre...

I recently purchased a MacBook for the first time. I installed my Wacom 5 tablet using the original disk rather than downloading the driver online. The connection appears to be working. However the tablet does not appear in system preferences.

 

My goal here is change my Wacom preferences to make my pen less sensitive, from tutorials I've searched I need the tablet in system preferences. Anyone have a solution?
