faders reset to 0 in Logic

Logic X

In a Logic X project with about 32 midi tracks, 2 of the tracks' faders reset to 0 during play.  There is no automation on any tracks as yet. I have frozen 12 of the tracks as they are finalized. I have never had this issue before.
