Does the new Macbook Air take longer to charge ...

Hello everyone,

So I bought a Macbook Air in 2014 and I always thought it charged relatively fast. Up until this past month, I never thought that it had slowed down any. Through some circumstances, I ended up having to buy the new Macbook Air two weeks ago and I have noticed a significantly slower charging time. Is this normal? Is there something about the new Macbook Air that makes it charge slow? Thanks for any help!

They both have the same watt hours, 54, so I'd think they'd be the same. It's very difficult to replicate the same conditions between the two MBAs, so is it possible it's just perception?
