Macbook pro Illustrator glitch

Recently bought a Macbook pro 2016 non touch bar, I was about to start some work today in Illustrator until i found this bug or whatever you'd call it. I've been looking around but couldn't find anything the same.

Basically when working in Illustrator all the lines start glitching and going transparent in weird patterns when the image is still but mostly when zooming or moving the canvas. I'm worried if this is a hardware issue as this is a refurbished model. I have ran the Apple hardware test and it said there was no problems with the hardware.
