i tune sync

I have an older version of the ipod shuffle. i can no longer sync with i tune i get this message that i can't figure out?

It isn’t possible to put Apple Music tracks onto an iPod shuffle, and never has been. Songs you’ve individually bought can be synced as normal.

can i use any other device that i can use other than I phone to play music on when I run?

You need to use a computer running iTunes 12.2, fifth generation iPod touch, iPhone 4S, second generation iPad, or any newer versions of those products.
